Let’s Connect: Ask Us Anything this Sexual Health Week
Brook’s Sexual Health Week takes place from 14–20 September, with this year’s theme, Let’s Connect.
The theme is about more than sexual health alone. In a world where we’re more digitally connected than ever, how can we build deeper, healthier and more meaningful connections with ourselves and others?
This Sexual Health Week is all about exploring meaningful connections with ourselves, our partners, our friends and our communities, with the hope of creating stronger relationships and supporting happier, healthier lives.
Good sexual wellbeing starts with being able to have open and honest conversations. However, there are still many barriers that can make it difficult for people to talk openly about their sexual health and wellbeing.
That’s why The Eddystone Trust is launching our Ask Us Anything campaign.
We want to make it easier to ask the questions you might not feel comfortable asking elsewhere. No question is too small, and no question is too personal.
You can ask your question anonymously, at any time, through our online form.
What can I ask?
Anything! In particular, you might want to ask us about:
- Sexual health
- HIV
- HIV testing
- PrEP
- Relationships
- Consent
- Sexual wellbeing
You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for. If something is on your mind, ask us!
Who will answer my questions?
Your questions will be answered by experienced sexual health professionals from The Eddystone Trust team, using up-to-date, evidence-based and non-judgemental information.
Selected questions and answers will be shared in a blog post on our website during Sexual Health Week, as well as across our social media channels.
Having unanswered questions can sometimes lead to anxiety, misinformation or shame. Having access to clear, reliable information can help people feel more informed, confident and empowered when it comes to their sexual wellbeing.
That’s why this is a great opportunity to ask about something you’ve always wanted to know, something you’re unsure about, or any worries you may have — and get an answer from experienced sexual health professionals.
Asking questions also helps us understand what information people need and how we can better support our communities. The chances are that if you’ve got a question, someone else has been wondering exactly the same thing.
So, what have you always wanted to know about your sexual health and relationships?
Is there something about HIV, PrEP, testing, relationships, consent or sexual wellbeing that you’ve never felt comfortable asking?
Now is the perfect opportunity.
