The Eddystone Trust Accessibility Statement

Updated: June 2024

The Eddystone Trust strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with different needs. We have invested a significant amount of resources to make our website easier to use and more accessible for people with diverse needs and abilities. We strongly believe that everyone has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

Accessibility on

We utilise the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget, powered by a dedicated accessibility server. This software helps improve our compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Enabling the Accessibility Menu

Our accessibility menu can be activated by pressing the tab key when the page first loads or by clicking the accessibility menu icon located in the corner of the page. Please wait a moment for the menu to load fully after activation.

The Eddystone Trust is committed to continually improving the accessibility of our site and services. We believe it is our moral obligation to ensure seamless, accessible, and unhindered use for all individuals, including those with diverse abilities.

We regularly scan using UserWay's Accessibility Scanner to identify and resolve any accessibility barriers. However, some content may not yet be fully adapted to the highest accessibility standards due to limitations in identifying the most appropriate technological solutions.
