PrEP yourself, don’t stress yourself
(Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) PrEP is a medication that can be taken daily to prevent HIV transmission. It's highly effective for people at high risk of HIV exposure. To learn more about whether PrEP is right for you, talk to your
local sexual health clinic.
When taken as prescribed, PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by about 99% (NHS).
Breaking down the stigma
If a person living with HIV is on effective treatment and achieves an undetectable viral load, they cannot pass the virus to their sexual partners. This concept is known as U=U, which stands for 'Undetectable = Untransmittable.' This means that with consistent treatment, HIV becomes untransmittable through sex.
By destigmatising HIV and encouraging people to test and access treatment, we can help improve the landscape for people living with HIV and prevent late diagnoses.
Help keep this service free
They say in life, there's no such thing as a free condom. Well, that's not strictly true because this service is 100% free. However, if you are able to make a donation (however small) to our JustGiving page, you can help keep this service free. Your support allows us to provide condoms to those who need them most for a longer time.
Share our World AIDS Day message
Each year, we release a special World AIDS Day message, reflecting on the significance of this important day and highlighting our ongoing vision and commitment as a charity. This annual video serves as a reminder of the progress made in the fight against HIV, while reaffirming our dedication to supporting those affected, raising awareness, and driving meaningful change for the future.
