Would you like to volunteer for our much loved charity this summer?

We are excited to invite you to join our team at our sexual health charity as a volunteer working with LGBTQ communities across the South West of the UK. Our organization is dedicated to promoting sexual health, education, and advocacy for all members of the LGBTQ community, and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us spread the word at Pride events throughout the region.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help us at Pride events across the South West, where we will be providing information and resources on sexual health, as well as promoting our organisation's values and services.

We welcome volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to join our team. Whether you are a student looking to gain experience in the nonprofit sector, a professional seeking to give back to your community, or simply someone who is passionate about sexual health and LGBTQ rights, we would love to hear from you.

As a volunteer with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals who share a passion for promoting sexual health and supporting LGBTQ communities. You will also gain valuable experience in event planning and outreach, as well as the satisfaction of making a positive impact on the lives of others.

      Community Leaders update

      Community Leaders update

The first ever Community Leaders training is coming to an end and we think it has been an incredible success, bringing together individuals with a shared passion for helping LGBTQ+ communities improve their sexual health.

Community Leaders is a voluntary scheme that has enabled participants to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective advocates and leaders within their communities.  One of the most significant benefits of the Community Leaders training so far has been the sense of community that has developed among participants.

Another key benefit of the Community Leaders training has been the focus on sexual health. LGBTQ+ individuals face unique challenges when it comes to sexual health, including increased barriers to accessing healthcare. By equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to address these challenges, the Community Leaders training is helping to improve the sexual health outcomes of LGBTQ+ communities.

So far the scheme has been fascinating and also very positive. It's bringing people together and giving them the space to work through complex/challenging issues which should make a difference to the communities we work with. It's been a really positive project so far and we’re excited to see our community leaders in action!

      Who is it for?

If you're passionate about making a difference, and working within the LGBTQ community on a voluntary or professional capacity then you could become one of our first wave community leaders

      What does it entail?
