Become a Lightkeeper: Help Us Celebrate 40 Years of The Eddystone Trust
40 years is a big milestone. And we want to celebrate it with the people who have helped make The Eddystone Trust what it is today.
In 2027, The Eddystone Trust will reach its 40th year.
For four decades, we've worked alongside people and communities across the South West, responding to changing needs, tackling stigma and inequality, and helping people take control of their sexual health and wellbeing.
Now we're looking for people who want to help us celebrate that journey - and shape what comes next.
We're calling them Lightkeepers.
So, what is a Lightkeeper?
Being a Lightkeeper isn't about signing up to one particular fundraising challenge or committing to a set number of hours.
It's about getting involved in a way that works for you.
Maybe you've supported The Eddystone Trust for years. Maybe you've only just discovered us. Perhaps you've used one of our services, worked alongside us, volunteered with us or simply believe in what we do.
If you care about the charity and want to play a part in our 40th year, we'd love you to become a Lightkeeper.
There are lots of ways to get involved:
- Take on a fundraising challenge
- Host your own event
- Help at our events
Lightkeepers aren't just people who help us deliver our 40th. They're people who can help shape it.
You don't need to know what you want to do yet
That's probably the most important bit.
You don't need to arrive with a fundraising target, a fully formed event plan or a list of dates you're available to volunteer.
Just tell us you're interested.
We'll have a conversation and work out how you might want to get involved.
Because our 40th anniversary shouldn't just be about looking back at everything The Eddystone Trust has achieved.
It's about bringing people together to celebrate our history, recognise the people who have made it possible and look towards the next 40 years.
