The Eddystone Trust Secures New Contract to Deliver Sexual Health and Wellbeing Outreach in Gloucestershire
The Eddystone Trust is happy to announce that it has successfully secured the contract to deliver sexual health and wellbeing outreach funded by Gloucestershire County Council until 2030. This achievement reaffirms The Eddystone Trust’s dedication to providing inclusive, community-focused sexual health services that put people first.
Since 2018, we have been at the forefront of sexual health outreach, prevention, and support in the region. Over the years, the organisation has developed strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organisations, and local authorities – including Gloucestershire County Council – to ensure that sexual health services reach those most in need. This new contract allows us to continue our vital work, expanding our reach and, in turn, deepening our impact in the community.
“We believe sexual health is everyone’s business,” says Mags Davies, Eddystone Trust CEO. “Our work goes beyond STI prevention and contraception – it’s about promoting overall wellbeing, empowering people in our communities to have healthy relationships, and ensuring that people feel enabled to make informed choices about their bodies and overall health.”
The Eddystone Trust’s holistic approach recognises that sexual health is deeply connected to mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. The organisation works to break down stigma, provide accessible education, and support individuals in navigating their sexual health with confidence and dignity.
Through this new contract, The Eddystone Trust will continue to focus on engaging with communities in the region, offering tailored support and interventions that address the unique challenges they face. By working in close partnership with Gloucestershire County Council and other local organisations, the Trust remains committed to making sexual health services inclusive, non-judgmental, and easily accessible for all.
Despite making significant progress in improving sexual health outcomes for those living in Gloucestershire, we know there is still more to be done. That’s why we’re looking to collaborate with more organisations to better serve our community. If you’re a community organisation working in Gloucestershire, we want to hear from you. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier future for everyone.
